A 20 minute ride from Pokhara. A prepared takeoff allows  pilots to fly directly in front of the Annapurnas.
It is the departure point of many cross country flights.
West - Along the lake valley.
North - To the first foothills of the Annapurnas and Machapuchare.
East - Along the Himalayen foothills.
